Shafi Muhammad Shah was a legendary Pakistani actor who began acting in 1980. His notable dramas include Akhri Chattan, Aanch, Teesra Kinara, Bund Gulab, Chand Girahan, Tapish, Zeenat, Noori Jam Tamachi, Jungle, Zara Si Aurat, and Talash, among others. Shafi Muhammad Shah passed away on November 17, 2007, at the age of 58. At the time of his death, he left behind a loving family, including his children and wife.
Recently, shocking news about the legendary actor’s family was shared by his daughter, who informed fans about the passing of Shafi Muhammad Shah’s second-born daughter, Arsalna Muhammad Shah, who passed away in 2026 due to a sudden heart attack. Arsalna was married and had a loving family, including her daughter.
Shafi Muhammad Shah’s daughter wrote, “Some people leave behind awards, titles, and long lists of achievements, while others leave behind something rarer—a heart that changed lives quietly. Today, we remembered our sister, Arsalna, the second daughter of the late actor Shafi Muhammad Shah, whom we lost to a sudden heart attack on 7th February. She worked under Mr. Ghazanfar at Indus Vision and served as an Assistant Director and Director across multiple channels, but that was never her true legacy. She was the person who sat with the light boys and others whom people often overlooked on set. She saw every human being with dignity. She helped people find jobs without expecting anything in return. She gave without calculation, loved without conditions, and carried a softness that this world does not often protect. She had a heart of gold, and perhaps hearts like hers are never truly meant for this world for too long. We did not only lose a sister—we lost an angel in human form. She leaves behind her beautiful daughter, Ummul Banin, who will forever carry a part of her light into this world. On this blessed day, I pray: Ya Allah, grant my sister the highest place in Jannah. Fill her grave with light, surround her with peace, and reunite them one day in a place where there is no pain, no loss, and no goodbyes. Some souls depart, but their love continues walking among us.
