Shagufta Ejaz Shares Details of Brother’s Illness & Death

While talking about it, Shagufta Ejaz said, “My brother was with me for six months. He came from the USA and passed away last month. His treatment was already ongoing in the USA. He had liver cancer. Liver cancer is very dangerous; survival chances are rare, and reversal is extremely difficult, almost impossible. He sent me his reports, which I showed to Anya and Talha, and they said the reports are not looking good. We asked him to get tested again because he was regular with his monthly checkups, but he told us these were his reports and that he has cancer which their sister had too. He had undergone treatment and chemotherapy, which slowed the spread of cancer, but he became weaker over time. He was living alone in the USA, so I called him to Pakistan. He was already on palliative care. Doctors advised us to manage his symptoms and provide him comfort and care. We took him to Yahya’s doctor, who looked after him and suggested medicines accordingly. He lived pain-free months in Pakistan and had a great time with us. We used to visit resorts, and he even played volleyball with the kids. We shared some beautiful last days together. Aslam Bhai used to come daily, Haya also visited, and we spent quality time. However, his health started deteriorating. Five days before his death, he even asked us to go for a walk. I decorated the terrace with fairy lights because I wanted to create memories for him. He remained bedridden in the last three days, his blood pressure kept fluctuating, and he lost consciousness. Fifteen days before his death, doctors reviewed his reports and told us to be prepared. In the end, his liver completely failed, and his kidneys also stopped working. He also used to feel a different kind of smell; I don’t know whether I should say this or not, but this was something unusual. He passed away in front of my eyes. “ Here is the link to the video:
