Shaheera Jalil Albasit is a brilliant Pakistani television actor. She has just started her career in the media industry. Well, Shaheera began acting with a small role in the popular Hum TV soap serial Meesni. Shaheera Jalil’s second amazing venture was the short TV series Razia for Express TV. Razia was an impactful series which created a buzz because of its unique storyline and Mahira Khan’s excellent narration. Shaheera Jalil’s impeccable performance added the charm in the series and the character of Razia became an attraction for the viewers. Fans loved Razia because they resonated with her sufferings. Shaheera Jalil Albasit is a full bright scholarship holder. She completed her masters in public administration from USA. She is a social activist who raised her voice for Palestine. She also served as an employee in the poverty alleviation programme ( Ehsaas Program) which was launched by the previous government.
Lately, the brilliant actor made an appearance in Amna Isani’s Haute Talk where she revealed an inside information about Selahaddin Eyubi series’ auditions.
Talking about it, Shaheera Jalil said, “I gave an audition in 2021 for the Pakistan-Turkey joint venture Selahaddin Eyubi. It was through a proper process; I applied for the auditions, I got the call and reached Karachi. I was happy and surprised to see the amazing actors like Ushna Shah and Ayesha Omar. Turks were taking the auditions. I gave the auditions, and I was selected among the 60 people, which was a big thing. Standing next to Humayun Saeed and others was an achievement. After the selection, I thought I am now sorted as I have gotten a Turkish drama. Well, the drama has been made, the shootings have been completed, but none of us are in the drama. They selected us, made the WhatsApp group with the selected cast including Alizeh Shah, Arsalan Naseer, me, and others, but nothing happened.”
