Shameen Khan is an actress who has been working in the drama industry for a decade now. She has appeared in many good supporting roles and fans have loved her performances. She is also blunt and open about her opinions and she spoke about a very controversial topic which is seldom touched upon by actors and actresses openly.
Casting couch is a dark reality of showbiz. This has been happening all over the world. Pakistani industry is also notorious for such practices and many big stars like Ayesha Omer and others have spoken about the existence of such practices in the industry but Shameen Khan does not agree with this. She was a guest on FHM podcast and said that casting couch does not exist and no one is forced to opt it. It is a choice which these women make. She said she has never been offered any such thing during her career.

She added that she cannot say if they are lying or not but choosing that life is a choice and they were never forced into it.
