Shamoon Abbasi is a famous Pakistani actor, director and producer. Shamoon Abbasi has been the part of the media industry for more than two decades. He began his career as a director and a producer who introduced many big names. The actor got recognition as an actor from PTV serials. He is well-known for the roles of villain in various dramas and films. Last year, his films Daadal and Hue Tum Ajnabi were released. He is currently appearing in Green Entertainment’s Akhara.
The actor has recently made an appearance in Alief Tv’s show Meri Maa. In the show he shared the details about his turbulent relationship with his mother. He revealed that he was not close to his real mother because of her strict nature. In the show, he also talked about his relationship with father.
Talking about his troubled relationship with mother, Shamoon Abbasi said, “My mother started getting angry with me and stopped talking to me after her separation, I used to miss her a lot. She was a hardworking and efficient business woman, she knew how to expand business, a decent well-dressed woman who remarried too but separated eventually. After her separation, I used to say to my mom, ‘how can everyone be wrong in your life, you need to relax and chill, you are ageing and you need to get calm. Your priorities do change with time, now you have a grown up son, I will do everything for you but first you have to become easy, You all the time shows anger to me, you scold me because of someone else’
Talking about, his mother’s reaction on his father’s death, Shamoon said, “I didn’t cry on my father’s death, in fact, I received my mother’s call after my father’s death, she said, ‘Today, I have become a widow’, I got so upset on her words and I cried a lot because she never forgot my father in her life, even after moving on”.
Talking about his mother’s last moments, Shamoon said, ” I couldn’t meet my mother during her last time because she didn’t inform me about herself, someone called me and told that she passed away, well, a family used to take care of her but they didn’t see her only for two days, and she passed away in those days. No one saw her dead body for two days, this is one my life’s biggest regrets”. He further said, “Actually, I was upset with my mother, I heard she got blood cancer, I stayed with her and attended her during her illness but she started fighting with me after she recovered, it made me upset and I left meeting her”
Talking about the last moments of his father, Shamoon Abbasi said, “I wanted to take my father back to Italy, I wish I had an opportunity to do that, I had a great time with my father, he gave me a perfect life, treated me with multiple trips to Europe. My father’s lungs got infected, there was a time, his health completely deteriorated. After the check-up, the doctors said he could only live for nine months, so I decided to obey him. I miss my papa a lot. He left me when I was going to do my big project Waar. He passed away before that.
