Shahzad Nawaz is a renowned Pakistani television personality and actor who started his media career as an advertising expert. He is currently known for playing father roles in hit dramas like Parizaad, Badshah Begum, Mein, Ghulam Bashah Sundri, and Shanas. Nowadays, he is garnering praise for his performances in both Humrahi and Dr Bahu, as a strict father-in-law. Besides acting, he is hosting a podcast for NJ Spotlight, where he invites other actors from the industry.

Recently, Shahzad Nawaz gave an interview to Rise and Shine, the morning show hosted by Nadia Khan. In the show, he talked about the response he is getting on Dr Bahu and also revealed Sharmila Tagore’s special message to him.

Talking about it, Shahzad Nawaz said, “Do you know I even received DMs of real life lady doctors on Instagram? Both the doctors told me an interesting thing that their fathers-in-law are the same. One even said the Dr Bahu father-in-law is nothing because the language my father-in-law uses is insane and unbearable. She did her catharsis through message. And on another occasion, someone told me his story is like Dr Salman of Dr Bahu. And about Dr Shahnawaz, there is a special thing. I got a message from Sharmila Tagore through Mehreen Jabbar. She said to her, ‘I hate this man Dr Shahnawaz, but this actor carried it so well. Tell him that he acted so well.’” Sharmila Tagore is mother of Saif Ali Khan and Soha Ali Khan.
