Abdullah Seja is a popular Pakistani producer and the CEO of iDream Entertainment. Some of the most hit and high-rated television serials under his renowned production banner, iDream Entertainment, include Bismil, Kaisi Teri Khudgarzi, Sukoon, Baby Baji, Betiyaan, Sher, and Jhooti. Nowadays, fans are praising the drama series Sharpasand.

Recently, Abdullah Seja appeared on Maliha Rehman’s YouTube show, where he addressed the criticism regarding Sharpasand’s story being dragged by the makers.

Talking about it, Abdullah Seja said, “We didn’t drag the drama. If you watch it, you can see that we are following the story as it is meant to unfold. I believe every story takes its due time. There are some stories where we know they are being stretched. In the case of Sharpasand, it has to take its own course. It is a neighborhood-based story that needs time to wrap up. You have to give time to each part. We are showing this story from Farasat’s point of view—if you don’t see things from his perspective, you won’t fully understand or enjoy his downfall. So, it is a slow narrative. Every story has to take its natural course. In Sharpasand, we are compelled to tell the story in detail. As a storyteller, it is my responsibility to cover all aspects; otherwise, it will feel incomplete.” Watch here:
