Sheema Kermani is a Pakistani artist, dancer and social activist. She has been working with Tehreek e Niswan since the 80s and she has not looked back in the worst of eras. She has always stood by women and she speaks for their rights. She has gone through very bad treatment recently at the Karachi Press Club and now she is speaking out against it.

Sheema Kermani and Aurat March are planning to protest on 10th May which is also the Mother’s Day. She went to Press Club Karachi to raise their voices as the Sindh Government is not giving them NOC. They were mishandled by the law enforcement forces, pushed and arrested while they were not granted the NOC.

Sheema Kermani has also released her statement on video. She revealed that the police dragged her, her saari was torn and she was kicked. She is a peace loving activist and they just wanted an NOC which Sindh Government has still not issued. She is also disappointed how they were treated in Sindh which never happened before.
