This format has sparked severe public backlash in Pakistan, though viewers remain curious about Lazawal Ishq.

Recently, Pakistani actress Memoona Quddus, who went viral for her casting couch statements, joined Lazawal Ishq and also found her partner on the show. Social media users have again called for a ban on Lazawal Ishq. They are criticizing the actors participating in a vulgar show which is promoting obscenity. One fan wrote, “This is not Lazawal Ishq, this is Lazawal Vulgarity, and it isn’t going to end anytime soon.” Another questioned, “Are they even Muslims? The sad part is the host’s name is Ayesha and she is promoting this.” Others commented, “What’s happening in Pakistan?” and “They are badly copying Indian cringe content.” Many asked, “Who watches such cringe shows?” Several users also shared Qur’anic verses in response to the vulgarity being spread by the media.
