Talking about it, Sparrow said, “I had always been delicate like women. When I was a child, I was more feminine. My parents knew that I had girlish traits, but they were very supportive despite me having different attributes. I used to sleep with my parents until I was twenty. They were very close to me, and they couldn’t see me in any pain. My father used to come to school thirty minutes before it was time to leave, and he would observe my friends’ behaviour towards me. He would tell me which of my friends were kind to me and which ones were rude to me. He would also stop me from meeting the friends who were rude to me.
