Recently, Srha Asghar appeared on ARY Digital’s morning show Good Morning Pakistan, hosted by Nida Yasir. During the show, she spoke about her financial struggles, becoming independent, and why she is compelled to earn throughout her life.
While sharing about her financial struggles and status, Srha Asghar said, “So, my mother raised all five of us siblings on her own because Abbu wasn’t there in our lives. Our priority was to stand on our own because our Ammi hardly managed to get us through our education by selling her jewelry. There was a time when we knew we had to work. Although I was clueless about the profession I would opt for, I knew I had to work. My sister suggested that I do journalism, so I eventually ended up in acting. I was consistent, and it’s important to be consistent and punctual; otherwise, you can’t survive. And now I have to be on my toes to maintain my status and job. By being hardworking and employed, we both have maintained our lifestyle because now we have three children. It is important for both of us to work because we have a certain lifestyle to maintain, house help and bills to pay. And also, if my son is featuring in a reel with me, I will put his money in his bank account because it’s his money, and sometime in life, he will have to earn.
