Mitti De Baway is a drama which has become current obsession of Pakistanis. It is written by Faiza Iftikhar and directed by Syed Wajahat Hussain. Wahaj Ali and Mahira Khan as Baala and Billo have gathered attention and fans have been discussing the story every week.
Faiza Iftikhar’s Mitti De Baway has once again put her talent front and center. The way she has showcased Punjabi culture in the backdrop of a revenge saga and how she has incorporated casteism, religious superiority and crime is something not many writers are capable of. Syed Mohammad Ahmed who is a writer and actor himself has also given his review of the show and he is impressed.
Syed Mohammad Ahmed said that a drama like Mitti De Baway should be openly appreciated. Syed Wajahat Hussain has beautifully filmed it but Faiza as a writer has outdone herself. Every scene is beautifully crafted and has a mystery element. He added that he would specially like to appreciate Fazal Hussain who started his career with him. He was always talented and he is rightfully being praised.
