Syed Noor plans for four films in 2014

Seasoned director Syed Noor has revealed his film making plans for the year 2014. He plans for four films in the year 2014. Here is what English Daily The News has reported

RENOWNED Pakistani film director Syed Noor has wowed to bring about a positive change in the state of Pakistan film industry in practical terms and is going to set a unique record by completing and releasing four movies in the year 2014.

This was announced by Syed Noor while talking to The News on Friday. Syed Noor pointed out that there had always been a lot of talk but very less work was being done in the film industry. But, the veteran director added, instead of talking like others, he had taken very positive and important practical steps to bring about a change in the state of the film industry by making four movies in 2014 only.

He said that his first movie in this string of new flicks was going to be ‘Price of Honour’ which would be released in April 2014.

The next movie ‘Bhi Wanted’ will be out on Eid ul Fitr. His third movie ‘First Love’ is scheduled to be released on Eidul Aza while the fourth and the last movie ‘O America’ is planned to be released in the end of this year.

Syed Noor acknowledged the role of the media in promoting healthy and positive trends in the film industry and appealed to it to continue its support.

He also announced that following the agreement between the exhibitors association and the film producer association, 1 percent of the yields from the Indian films exhibition would be paid to the technicians of the film industry. He added that the cheque of the 1 percent amount would be presented to the head of the special committee formed for this purpose to be distributed among the film technicians later.
