Syed Noor is a seasoned Pakistani film director, also regarded as a star maker who introduced Reema, Shaan, Meera, Resham, Sana, Saima, and others. Syed Noor’s notable directorial films are Choorian, Jeeva, Sangam, Sargam, Majajan, Tere Bajre Ki Rakhi, and others. Choorian was a blockbuster movie that broke all the records of cinema business. He is married to his film Choorian’s lead Saima Khan.
Recently, Syed Noor appeared in 24 Plus’ podcast, hosted by Fiza Ali. In the show, he talked about his second marriage with Saima and his first wife Rukhsana Noor’s reaction.
Talking about it, Syed Noor said, “Rukhsana got to know about my second marriage after four years through the newspaper, it was published by Tahir Sarwar Mir because that was a true story and Saima told him, so he published it. She was silent after reading the news. She was upset but didn’t talk. One of our neighbours talked to me and said, ‘What have you done?’. Rukhsana accepted my decision. She was a very supportive wife”
He further added, “I will tell you how Saima and Rukhsana first met after our marriage. Saima was shooting for her film in Iqbal Town, where I was residing at that time. During the shooting, people gathered around her and started disturbing her. Saima decided to take some rest at a nearby house. The driver took her to my house, which was in Iqbal Town. My wife was not home. When she returned, she asked, ‘Who is in the house?’ They replied, ‘Saima.’ She was shocked but then went inside the kitchen, prepared tea and snacks for her, handed them over to the servants, and went to her room. It was a great gesture by Rukhsana. She was setting things up to observe Saima, and Saima ultimately proved herself.”
