Saif Ali Khan is a young Pakistani software engineer and amateur singer who recently rose to fame after appearing on ARY Digital’s reality show Tamasha. He gained popularity soon after his introduction in the first episode of Tamasha 4. Saif Ali Khan faced tough competition in the Tamasha house, eventually emerging as the winner. During his time on the show, he received immense praise and a significant social media following. His reels trended for around 60 days, making him a recognizable face across Pakistan. Saif has no media background and hails from Peshawar, Pakistan.
After winning Tamasha 4, Saif Ali Khan has been giving interviews to various TV and digital platforms. He recently appeared on Fuchsia Magazine, where he opened up about his father’s shahadat (martyrdom) when he was just nine years old.
Talking about it, Saif Ali Khan said, “My father was martyred when I was just nine. I was the eldest, so I had the responsibility and that is why my prime focus was my studies but I sometimes play cricket for passion”
He further added, “I was just nine when I lost my father. Peshawar city experienced most bomb blasts in Pakistan, it was on the top among most affected cities. My father was a member of a peace committee that included police officers, government officials, and politicians. There was a meeting led by the DIG, and they all were the target of terrorists who bombed the venue where the meeting was taking place. My phupo (aunt) came and asked us to contact our father. Then all the family members went upstairs — we didn’t know what was happening, but we soon learned that he had been martyred. At the age of nine, you can only cry once and feel a bit of pain, but as you grow up, you truly realize the depth of the loss of a father. Over the years, my mother worked incredibly hard. She never kept anything for herself and gave everything to us.”
Talking about my mother, he further said that she also went through a brain tumor operation and he expressed love for his mother. Saif said, “I want my mother to share all her problems with me and not keep them to herself.”
