Marriage is a sacred union that joins not only two individuals but two families together. Though we have many cultural influences on the family unit in Pakistan, largely women are told to compromise in marriages and listen to their in laws which causes rifts between families. But younger generation has a totally different point of view about marriages and that is what Tuba Anwar shared in her latest interview with Fuchsia.
She shared that young couples should seek therapy and go to a therapist if they are facing problems in a new relationship. Though this was not acceptable in older times, now it is important to seek external help in order to understand each other better and make a marriage work.

Tuba also talked about if a woman should compromise in a marriage or not. She said that we have always seen women being taught to compromise but why should they. She is not a supporter of compromising and had a different opinion from accepted societal norm.
