Recently, fans praised his work in Yasir Hussain’s hit theatre venture Monkey Business. Soon, he will appear in Green Entertainment’s upcoming drama series alongside Momina Iqbal.

Today, Umer Aalam appeared on Good Morning Pakistan with his wife, Fiza. In the show, Nida Yasir asked the couple how they met and how their love story began.

Replying to Nida’s question, Fiza said, “I used to do content creation. I was doing a small gig along with my job, so we met at a restaurant—he came with his friends, and I was there with mine. He started socialising, and we connected through Instagram.”
Umer Aalam added, “I got social media’s help to get connected with her. Basically, we first met at a friends’ gathering where I was talking and cracking the jokes, and the only person who didn’t laugh at my jokes was her. That made me think about her—I became interested in her. I was like, ‘Who is the girl that didn’t pay attention to me?’ We then talked on Instagram, and now we are married.”
He further said, “So whenever I say to her that you have been so lucky to have me, Fiza replies, ‘I have been with you since the time you were not popular, had only 12 thousand followers, no standing, and weren’t even acting.’ So yes, she blindly trusted me.”
Umer continued, “I liked the way she talks, and my checklist was quickly ticked when I saw her. She’s educated, caring, well-spoken—I love hearing her speak. She is so passionate and intelligent, very responsible. I am already a fan of my wife.”
