Many believe that her post is exposing herself as a hypocrite who identifies herself as a Canadian who is married to a white man but her dramas and performances are for the local Pakistani audience. Many X users were of the view that celebrities love to hear positive comments but lose their calm after seeing the criticism, they should handle negative feedback similarly. One social media user wrote, “I am quite confused about her claims to be a liberal girl because her acting projects are purely for the Pakistani audiences”.
Many others expressed their anger and advised her not to return to Pakistan and should also stop acting in Pakistani dramas, as it is the ‘Desi’ audience that has given her fame.
