Usman Mukhtar starred opposite Saba Qamar in the hit drama Pamaal. The show was loosely based on the writer Zanjabeel Asim Shah’s life’s story and struggle. It went on to become one of the biggest shows of the year due to its strong storyline and beautiful acting by all the stars. Usman was loved by millions as he made everyone go through several emotions throughout the run of the show.
Usman Mukhtar played the character of Raza, a narcissistic man of our society who has flaws yet he is possessive and responsible. His character made women swoon, cringe and hate, with emotions changing by every episode. The way his character was concluded and how he brought the pain and helplessness a cancer patient feels was path-breaking. His character Raza will live on and his performance was rightfully praised by everyone. But the actor did not think that his show will become such a huge hit.
Usman was a guest on Karachi Literature Festival where he revealed that he felt the drama was good but he never thought it will become such a huge hit. Saba Qamar, on the other hand, always knew that Pamaal will be loved by the audience.
