Uzma Hassan is a talent powerhouse. Seeing her in a project suddenly makes you feel it will be a good project. Uzma has done great projects in her career and she has once again killed it with her role in the recent blockbuster Khaie. She is beautiful, graceful and poised and she speaks her mind unapologetically.

She was a guest on Fuchsia and she talked about losing her parents. She shared that as a child she was closer to her father as he was the leninet parent while her mom was the strict one. After her father passed away, a loss she still remembers as fresh as the day it happened, her mother said that she accepts her as she is as she loves her so much. She grew closer to her mom after that and she made her happy till the day she passed away. She also revealed how her mother went through different health scares before passing away due to cancer which could not get diagnosed early on.

She now lives in Lahore alone as her parents have passed away and her brothers live abroad. She said that living alone is not an easy feat. Managing your work, career, yourself, the household, bills and repairs is not an easy feat and she salutes anyone who does that.

She also revealed that you cannot rent a place if you are a lone woman in Pakistan especially in Lahore, the place she knows about. She said that it is a crusade to do that or you need to ask someone to vouch for you or you can get the place in their name. Here is what she talked about:

Uzma is single and she talked about how society treats you if you are a single woman. She said that they will make you feel bad about yourself if you are single. Uzma added that you should always marry for the right reasons and she would like to be married to the right person one day. But people will make sure that you feel miserable however they can.
