Talking about it, she said, “When I had menopause, I felt so many changes in my body. I was having so many mood swings, and I was getting very cranky. I started having issues with my husband. Not knowing what was happening to me, he started bashing me, saying, ‘What has happened to you now?’ The distance started to appear between the two spouses because you lose that nurturing hormone in you and start reacting to everything so aggressively. Previously, you were tolerating things that you suddenly stopped bearing and started replying to people, after which you were called discourteous, stubborn, with bad manners and everything, not realizing that every woman goes through it. If you research, most divorces happen during menopause.”

She further added, “I have started focusing on my routine. I won’t say leave your husbands, of course, but start prioritizing your health; don’t compromise on it. Thank Allah, like Dr. Sahiba said, all married women should focus on their mental health. They should exercise, start giving importance to themselves, and take time out for themselves. Just do those exercises we used to do in childhood as punishment. Just turn the music on, dance to it, vibe with it. Just do it.”
