Veteran ptv actor Yousaf Shakeel passes away at the age of 85. He was born on May 29, 1938, Yousaf Shakeel was a brilliant Pakistani television and film actor who has acted in numerous hit projects including Uroosa, Uncle Urfi, Aangan Terha, Shehzori, Afshaan and Ankahi. Shakeel Yousaf’s real name was Yousuf Kamal, he also worked in radio, theatre and films. He has given over 60 years of his life to the media industry. Shakeel was loved because of his charming personality and his superb acting skills. His eloquence was his plus point which made him a top class lead actor. He mostly played the positive characters in most of the dramas.
Today, the actor Khaled Anam has shared this tragic news regarding veteran actor Shakeel. He posted the obituary news of legendary actor on his Instagram. Khaled Anam writes, “I will never use the words “no more with us” for you. You were, are and shall remain forever with us. Friends and fans expressed their grief over the death of a legendary artist who has given tons of hit projects. Fans said that the news of his demise made them sad.
Actor Shakeel was currently away from television screen. He left the work years ago. His last notable serial was Mere Humdam Mere Dost. The actor was a private person but sometimes he used to make appearances on the television for shows. May his soul rest in eternal peace.
