Pakistan has been blessed with talent and we have had many talented people who have worked and kept their fields alive in the worst of situations. Shaukat Zaidi is a big name in the entertainment and journalism worlds as he excelled in both and people loved and respected him. He also wrote theatre plays for a decade in his career.
It is another sad day for Pakistan as Shukat Zaidi left this mortal world at the age of 72. He was getting kidney treatment from a private hospital in Lahore and he passed away on Saturday due to his illness.
Pakistan has lost many of its legends in the past one year and the passing away of Shaukat Zaidi has been added to the long list. Shaukat Zaidi was also a journalist from 1970 to 1998 and thus reported in some of the worst times seen by the country. May Allah bless the departed soul and may his family find peace!
