Allama Iqbal is known as Musawir e Pakistan. His poetry fueled the passion and energy in Muslims of the sub-continent who fought to get their freedom from the British and Pakistan came into being as a result. His poetry is known to make people reflect and discover their true selves while also working for the betterment of Muslim Ummah. 9th November just passed which marked Iqbal Day, the day the nation celebrates Allama Mohammad Iqbal’s birthday.
All the channels paid tributes to the poet and leader in their own ways while Pakistani people also sent their tributes as they read Iqbal’s poetry and tried to resurrect his message once again. ARY News is one of the largest news channels in the country. They also paid tribute to Allama Iqbal and the news anchor read some poetry which people think does not belong to Iqbal at all.
People think this poem is fake and famous journalist Salman Durrani also pointed this out on Twitter:
