Nauman Ijaz is a versatile Pakistani television actor known for dramas like O Rangreza, Bismil, Dunk, Mera Saain, Dumpukht, Main Mar Gai Shaukat Ali, Parizaad, Raqeeb Se, Sang e Maah, Sang e Mar Mar and others. He is currently garnering acclaim for his negative character Farasat in the popular TV drama Sharpasand.
Recently Nauman Ijaz gave an interview to Omair Alavi for BBC Urdu. In the interview he complained about the industry. Many fans say that he looks exactly like Mr Farasat from Sharpasand.
Nauman Ijaz said, “I realised that our industry is full of toxic people who keep beef or grudges. For example, if you refuse a project for some reason, they keep a grudge against you that he refused me, and I will never work with him. I have many enemies in the industry; the more enemies you have, the more you succeed, but I never wanted my child to be an actor, although I told him the situation, but it’s bad luck that due to me, my son is facing hurdles in the industry, but he will eventually learn.
