Waqar Hussain is a big name in the Pakistani entertainment and fashion space. He has worked as an actor and also as a decorated makeup artist who has done makeup for dramas, films, ads and theatre alike. He is still very much active in the industry and he is regarded as one of the best in beauty and fashion. His work in dramas like Qudusi Sahab Ki Bewa is also legendary and it will live on for ages.
Waqar Hussain was a guest on Fahad’s Den and he spoke about how things have changed and become repetitive and monotonous over the years. He also touched upon why veteran makeup artists are not seen in the game these days. Waqar said that older stars did not have an issue with how their makeup will be done. Nowadays stars have teams and they do not work with any other artist. They are not giving chances to new people and therefore new talent is not getting promoted.
