Lately, Waseem Badami gave an interview to Metatainment. In the interview, Badami opened up about hiding his surname with fellows. He said, “I was quite conscious about sharing my surname with my class fellows because it was way too weird for me, I used to think my class fellows would make fun of my name, I hid my surname till seventh grade, after joining news, I didn’t want to reveal my surname but then my father did my counselling about it, now, I share it proudly”.

Waseem Badami also said that he learns from his blunders or mistakes because they keep him grounded. According to him, “the blunders make you realize that nothing is in your control.
