Talking about the last meeting, Waseem Badami said, “We are receiving condolences from all over the world. I also mentioned during the last Ramzan that maybe it would be our last Ramzan, or perhaps we won’t be able to see another one. But it never crossed my mind that something like this would happen to Umer. I also feel deeply saddened when I have to use the word ‘was’ for him. I remember watching the video of him crying during our last meeting in Ramzan, as he was leaving. I was shocked to see a child crying like that, and surprised by how emotional he was.
