Waseem Badami is the long time host of ARY Digital’s Ramadan transmission Shan e Ramzan. The transmission has been a permanent fixture on the channel for over a decade now and a whole team works on different segments. Shah brothers are also a long-standing party to this festivity. Umer Shah sadly passed away last year and it was a shock to the nation. The child was close with Waseem Badami.
Umer Shah was a part of every Ramadan transmission. He was fine and just got a little under the weather. Unfortunately he got a lung infection and he passed away while sleeping. Everyone was in tears when the tragedy happened and Waseem Badami is now remembering the little one on first day of Shan e Ramzan 2026.
Waseem Badami broke into tears as he showed some old clips with Umer Shah. He shared that Umer will always live on in our hearts and this was a big loss. As the child has grown in front of him, he has also lost a personal bond which was reflected in his tears.
