Masarrat Misbah is a beautician, businesswoman and philanthropist. Her work for the acid victims of Pakistan is commendable and she has helped so many women who were victims of the heinous crime. She is an inspiration to all the strong women out there and she has always spoken about women empowerment and played her part in uplifting women of this country.

Masarrat Misbah was a guest on Aik Naya Zaviya and spoke about her career, dealing with a divorce and philanthropy and activism. She shared how she was married when she was only 18 and her marriage did not work out. She had never really spoken about her divorce but lately she has shared her experience with the world. She said that she started speaking about it publicly after she consulted a religious scholar. They told her how Hazrat Muhammad SAW also used to share his family experiences to guide others. Thus she tries to help other women who are in toxic marriages by sharing her experiences but she remains respectful of the other party.

Masarrat Misbah also shared that she came from a household where no one would even raise their voice. Thus when she saw violence in her marriage where her children were also always scared, she decided that it was time to walk out and her father and family members became her support.
