Sajal Aly shared how she is actually very close to her character in Alif in real life. She shared that in Alif Momina’s brother tells her that she will get an Oscar and then he passes away. In that time frame in real life, her mom passed away and she got her very first award for Gul e Rana. She also channeled the pain of losing her mother in the emotional scenes thus she is very close to Momina Sultan.
