Education
Fatima studied at Lahore Grammar School. She says she is self-taught when it comes to performing arts. Later, she graduated from the National College of Arts. She also has a strong command of Urdu, which she credits to her father’s excellent Urdu.
Family
Fatima describes her father as an open-minded person and a great artist. Talking about him Fatima said, “He loves me and cares for me because I am his only daughter, so he is quite protective. He was worried when I decided to join the media, but he never stopped me because of my passion. Over time, he has even started praising and respecting my work.”
Financial Status
Talking about financial status, Fatima said, “I feel embarrassed to admit that I come from a privileged background. This is not my bread and butter — even if I don’t earn, I don’t have to worry about paying my bills.”
Relationship Status
Fatima Amjed is currently single but hopeful about finding the right person. She says she would love to perform for the man she falls in love with and has already chosen a special song for that moment. According to her, the concept of love has evolved over the years — shifting from a Bollywood fantasy to a desire for stability, maturity and balance.
Love Life
Talking about her love life. Fatima said, “Sometimes you don’t take love seriously because you don’t have time for it which is quite sad and I think love happens in your life when you find the right person, you automatically stop for him and just want to be with him. I’m waiting for that time.”
TV Debut
Speaking about how she landed her role in Main Manto Nahi Hoon, Fatima shared, “Someone I knew was friends with Nadeem Baig and mentioned me to him. He was already following my work, so he sent me a message about Manto. I immediately said yes. My father was a little reluctant, but I was very excited — and within a week, I was on set. I didn’t even have to audition.”
