Aam Husain aka Shahnoor from Zanjeerein knew at the age of 10 years that she wanted to become an actress but at that time it did not sound very practical. She was also very studious and completed her graduation in Political Science and International Development from UCLA. She always worked in theatre and plays during her education but she made her television debut with Main Manto Nahi Hoon.
