Hassam Khan is an actor from theatre background and he has worked in theatre, advertisements and he also played a small character of Mustafa’s friend in Kabhi Main Kabhi Tum. He is the talk of the town for his negative character Waleed and he shared his journey in the showbiz.
Hassam Khan shared that he always wanted to do something creative. He used to go as an extra with his friend when he was very young. He later on started taking this work seriously and Arts Council Karachi is the place which made an impact on his life. He joined a degree on the insistence of his elder sister but he knew that he will work as an actor in the long run.

Hassam Khan shared that he lost his father at a very young age. He was brought up by his mother and his sister. He has a strong impact on the women who brought him up. He learnt hardwork and resilience through these women and he has used these qualities in his life.

He shared that losing his brother whose name was also Waleed impacted him a lot. He went through a really dark time. He thinks the name Waleed has been a blessing for him as it was the name of his brother and now he has been noticed in Parwarish for playing that role.

Hassam Khan also shared that he went through a fracture in that fight scene with Wali from Parwarish. They were filming the scene and he got hit in the second take. He did not care for it at first and kept working but later on he got checked at the hospital and he had a hairline fracture. This was the scene:
