Veteran actor Asim Bukhari was a big name in the Pakistani entertainment industry. He served the nation’s arts and culture for around five decades and he has given many memorable projects. His prowess in literature is also unmatched and Pakistan just lost another gem as he passed away following heart disease. His sons could not attend his Janaza and there were speculations regarding why that happened.
Asim Bukhari’s children are also famous. His son Ajlal Bukhari and daughter Moattar Bukhari used to appear in the iconic Ainak Wala Jin and two generations remember their work. Ajlal Bukhari took to Facebook and revealed why he could not be there for his father’s funeral prayer.
Ajlal Bukhari said that their father Asim Bukhari went through serious medical condition twice last year and he and his brother reached there from UK within half a day. This time they could not reach as wars are ongoing and many air spaces are blocked. Thus they feel heartbroken. He added that he is grateful to the media who paid tribute to his father’s achievements but called out YouTubers who were making unnecessary speculation on why sons were not present for the janaza.
