Aly Khan is a global star. He has worked in Pakistan, India and Hollywood and the actor is linked to all these lands which he has honoured through his work and career. He is one of the very few actors who are still able to work in India despite having Pakistani roots and he always manages to win the audience with his screen presence.
Aly Khan was a guest on Ushna Shah’s show After Hours and he spoke about his connection to both India and Pakistan and why he chose to settle in Karachi in the end. He shared that his family lives in both countries and he has a deep connection to both the cities. He has also worked in both countries.
He shared that he was born in Karachi and then lived with his maternal family in Mumbai. His passport is British and he is connected and exposed to all these places. He met his wife here in Karachi, fell in love with the culture and therefore in the end he chose to live in Karachi rather than Mumbai.
