Tamasha Season 5 was a popular Pakistani reality show that aired from August 8, 2026, to October 10, 2026. The show captivated viewers due to its multiple romantic connections, such as the bond between Esra Ayesha and Zayb Khan; which converted into a husband wife relationship, the friendship between Yasir and Samiya, the alliance formed by Fasih Khalid, King Hassan, and Sahrish Ahmed, and the relationship between Zee and Laila. All these couples were spotted together outside the house and expressed fondness for each other.
However, Yasir Alam has been clear in his thoughts regarding his friendship with Samiya as he clearly refused to marry her multiple times and has said they are just good friends.
During the live video call between Samiya Hijab, Maysam, and Yasir Alam, Maysam hinted that the next couple could be Laila and Zee. Samiya then asked about the future of “Yamiya” (Yasir + Samiya), to which Yasir Alam responded that nothing like marriage would happen between them and that things would remain exactly as they are. Social media users are saying that Yasir Alam has clearly refused to marry Samiya Hijab. One wrote, “He is not interested in marriage but Samiya is serious” Another wrote, “We thought Yasir was serious and Zayb is flirting but Zayb got married and Yasir didn’t” One fan however claimed that Esra Ayesha and Zayb Khan already knew each other before Tamasha 5 and decided to marry soon after show ended.
