Doctor Bahu is a new Pakistani drama serial that airs on ARY Digital. The drama is written by Sanam Mehdi Zaryab, while the show is directed by ace Pakistani director Mehreen Jabbar, who has directed hits like Daam. The show is produced by Humayun Saeed and Shahzad Nasib. The drama is receiving both praise and criticism. Some fans are speaking against the miscasting of the drama, while others are upset at the blunders shown in it.
Recently, a young doctor, Ayaz, also shared a video where he talked about the biggest blunder in Dr Bahu.
Talking about it, the doctor said, “There is a new drama that just started on ARY Digital with the name Dr. Bahu. Now, after adding the word ‘doctor’ in the title, they increase curiosity, and people want to see how doctors are being portrayed in it. So, what I saw in the first episode was mind-boggling for me because what they were showing was a male lead carrying an injured dog and coming to a human hospital for treatment, and he started fighting with the receptionist, saying, ‘Please admit this dog.’ After so much exposure and access to knowledge, they are unaware of veterinary doctors and hospitals. And the lady doctor, played by Kubra, instead was saying to fix a separate room for the dog. MBBS doesn’t have any course where we treat animals. When I graduated, I only learned about human treatment, not animals. I am unaware if they are teaching animal anatomy or pathology. Watch here.”
He further added a video on his Instagram criticizing the unrealistic plot where Dr Sania randomly asked the hospital staff to admit a patient where she doesn’t do job, while the hospital had already refused to admit the patient without important documentation.
Almost everyone is agreeing with the doctor, saying that they felt the same after watching the illogical scene.
