Yousuf Bashir Qureshi is an actor, businessman, speaker and designer. He is extremely talented and a learned man who knows what he is talking about. He has always spoken about the importance of preserving our culture and unique identity and he points out flaws in our strategies on how we gradually got rid of our originality as a nation. He was a guest on Gohar Rasheed’s Ramz and spoke about problems that men face as well as obstacles in a woman’s life.
Yousaf Bashir Qureshi was accompanied by Shafaat Syed as a guest and they both shared their point of views on how men are designed and developed in our society. Shafaat shared that he thinks a man never takes decisions for himself and he actually never takes decisions at all. At first his mother decides for him when he is a child. When he grows up, it is majorly his wife who takes care of the decision-making. Men never get to take decisions but they are still portrayed like a monster entity.

Yousuf Bashir Qureshi countered this with very factual points. He said that a man cannot even think about the difficulties that a woman faces. She leaves her home, family and even name as she comes into a new world. Now she cannot share anything she is feeling with anyone including her own family as well as her husband’s family. The problem begins when her husband is not letting her vent either. She feels isolated and in the end her child is the only outlet whom she can confide in. Thus she starts sharing all her pains just with her kids and cuts herself from all others.
