Anum Hussain is an emerging Pakistani television actress who plays the character of Shahbano in Zanjeerain which is getting a huge public and critical acclaim. She was previously appeared in ARY Digital’s hit drama series Main Manto Nahi Hoon as Sajal Aly’s class fellow. Anam is new to the media industry and is happily married to a singer and business man Ibrahim Butt.
Anum Hussain recently appeared on Nadia Khan’s morning show, Rise and Shine, where she revealed that the scenes of almost all the actors in Zanjeerain have been cut.
Replying to Nadia’s question, “Is it true that the scenes from Zanjeerain were deleted?” Anum Hussain said, “It is true that every multiple scenes were deleted from the drama but I didn’t feel it much for myself. Yes, I can say that they used my initial takes for an important scene, I had multiple takes with variations but they used the first clip and maybe they thought it was my better performance. I am not sure what exactly happened but I am not the kind of actor who is keen to watch herself on the monitor. All of my scenes were there in the drama, but they shortened a few scenes. I didn’t find my dialogues in the drama. I don’t believe that the scenes were cut on someone’s demand, they weren’t deliberately cut , probably it was the need of the story.Watch here
