Talking about her strict father and brothers, Zara Noor Abbas said, “My father was never convinced about any job for which I had to go out of the house. He didn’t let me study law, so I studied mass communication instead. He didn’t let me join showbiz or the media; it was my husband who allowed me to join the industry. I have three brothers, and I was the only sister. The eldest one used to be strict and would say, ‘I’m like your father.’ He would come to my university during breaks and take me home. He didn’t let me sit with friends, go on outings, watch films, or go shopping. The middle one and I had fights and debates, but my bond with the youngest one was different, as I used to tease him. He’s like a baby to me.”
