Zara Tareen is a very talented actress who has always been known for her strong acting skills and personality. She is very much aware of the issues within the industry and never shies away from sharing them. She has gone through the hardest time of her life after her divorce from actor Faran Tahir. She has finally spoken about it herself and shared her side of the story in a podcast with Frieha Altaf.
Zara Tareen revealed that she was introduced to Faran by his brother Ali Tahir for a project during Covid times. They were speaking on the phone at first and later met through families. They liked each other and after families got involved, they got married. Zara revealed that Faran was 20 years older than her and he misrepresented a lot of things about his life. He has grown kids which she respected but later she got to know about so many things which were not communicated to her before.
Zara Tareen broke into tears as she shared that it was the most difficult time of her life. She shared that she was betrayed, cheated and even manipulated. The marriage ended within 4 months and she was back at her mother’s place. She also fell into depression as she knew that she will be the one criticized for the marriage breaking down. After two years, she is angry at herself for how she hurt herself after going through so much.
