Zoya Nasir is the daughter of legendary film writer Nasir Adeeb. She is the only child of his who entered the industry and she has been able to make a successful career for herself. She has acted in good shows like Kaffara, Noor Jahan, Dobara and Mere Humsafar. She was a guest on Ahmed Ali Butt’s podcast and spoke about her career, mental health and her father’s podcast which has stirred a lot of controversy.
Nasir Adeeb was recently in a huge controversy when he made comments abot Reema Khan coming from Heeramandi. The comments went viral and everyone from the industry jumped to Reema’s defence while they all criticized Nasir Adeeb. He later apologized for his words.
Zoya Nasir was asked about her opinion on her father’s podcast. She said that she feels her father’s words were taken out of context but she still thinks that he should have been more cautious of what he said. She added that they come from a generation where understanding social media is difficult. Her father was probably not able to comprehend that his words can be taken out of context thus he should have been more careful. She also added that she is a Reema Khan fan and she knows that things just blew up.
