Lively, energetic and free-spirited, Sanam Jung is s a Pakistani actress, model, television host and VJ. She was born on 30 September 1988, in Karachi. Sanam started her career as a VJ on Play TV in 2008, while studying for her BBA. She made her acting debut in Dil e Muztar on Hum TV opposite Imran Abbas Naqvi, Sarwat Gilani, Aijaz Aslam, and Saba Hameed. After that she acted in Mohabat Subh Ka Sitara Hai opposite Meekal Zulfiqar, and Adeel Hussain in 2013. This TV serial changed her life made her more popular. In this year she has appeared as leading role in many TV serials on different TV channels.
She got married to with Syed Abdul Qassam Jafri, a Certified Flight Instructor at Alpha Tango Flying Services in the US. She gave birth to a daughter, Alaya Jafri,in November 2016.
Though many believed that she would disappear from screens post her marriage, she has continued with her hosting duties on Hum TV’s Jago Pakistan Jago with the same level of enthusiasm and dedication.
