Pakistani dramas are undoubtedly the best and especially old dramas are gold. Popular drama serial Ankahi was highly praised in its time.
It aired on PTV in 1982 which was written by Haseena Moin and directed by Shoaib Mansoor and Mohsin Ali.
It featured many stars including; Shehnaz Sheikh, Shakeel, Javed Sheikh, Saleem Nasir, Jamshed Ansari, Behroze Sabzwari, Badar Khalil, Qazi Wajid, and Faisal Bilal.
Ankahi is still remembered as one of the best dramas for its funny dialogues and interesting characters.
The story of Ankahi revolved around a young ambitious girl who dreams of getting rich and have a prosperous life like her friend.
One of the most promising roles was played by Faisal Bilal who appeared as Jibran Murad. He played the role of a young supporting actor who was a bookworm and had a heart defect by birth.
However, Faisal Bilal left the industry a long time ago and he continued his studies and later started his professional career.
He is married and currently living a good life with his family in the United States.
