Mahira Khan Wins Award At UK Asian Film Fest

Mahira Khan was presented with the Contribution to Film and Activism Award at the opening ceremony of the UK Asian Film Festival. The event commenced on 14th March and will go on till March 25.

The Verna starlet dedicated the award to her son, Azlan. Clad in a deconstructed Elan sari, she expressed her gratitude after receiving the award.

“Thank you. I’m going to keep it short. Like you said, if my son is being overlooked (because of my work)? I always ask my son about what should I say? Should I thank you? And he would always respond, ‘Please don’t thank me.’ So, I hope someone is recording this!”
