Aleena joined the media industry in 2012 through her debut series Maya, which aired on ARY Digital. She also has a theatre background. Aleena Khan graduated from Canada and is now back in the media industry.
Recently, she appeared on Good Morning Pakistan, where she opened up about the feedback on Aap Ki Izzat and her marriage plans.
Talking about the drama’s feedback, Aleena Khan said, “People told me that they are hating my character, but then they also tell me that it means you are doing a great job, but we can’t stand Naz.” Watch here:
She further added, “Playing a negative role got me a different kind of response. I received the messages where people used abusive language. They sent hate in messages, and asked me what I am doing or I am doing wrong. I am getting a lot of negative comments. People get involved so much that the reality blurs for them. Talking about marriage, she said, “I think one should marry when he/she finds the right partner, a good person, rather than focusing on timing. For me, a person would be perfect who jells well with family like me because I think family is important. They should have similar backgrounds too, and be a good-natured, kind-hearted man. I don’t have high standards. We should have understanding, and I can’t say anything about looks. Let’s see what happens. The success of marriage is also not dependent on timing.
