Aap Ki Izzat is a phenomenal new Pakistani drama that is gaining more hype and widespread critical and public acclaim with each passing episode. So far, Hum TV has aired four episodes, which have amassed around 11 million views. The drama has also received remarkable TRP ratings. Aap Ki Izzat is written by the acclaimed Pakistani writer Umera Ahmed, produced by Nina Kashif and Momina Duraid, and directed by Saifee Hassan. The cast features Ahsan Khan, Saif Ali, Urwa Hocane, Sania Saeed, and Nauman Masood.
So far, Hum TV has aired five episodes of Aap Ki Izzat. In the recent episodes, Tabish is all set to marry his secretary, Naz, while Bina has decided to leave her house. A scene of Ahsan Khan and Alina Khan is going viral in which they were both shopping in the mall when two girls exchanged dialogues. One said, “How beautiful is this couple?” to which her friend replied, “Yes, beautiful couple of a father and daughter.” This enraged Naz, who confronted the girl. Watch the scene here:
Aap Ki Izzat viewers are of the view that the casting in the drama seems poor and inappropriate, as Alina Khan, who is playing Naz, looks too mature to be called the beti of Ahsan Khan, who himself is looking way younger than the girl. One fan wrote, “She is arguing with the girls as if she herself is a little kid.” Another wrote, “No way, she can’t be called his beti. If they had to show a baap-beti age gap, they could have cast a very young girl.” Another wrote, “Ahsan Khan is even looking younger than this female actor.” Another wrote, “This is poor casting as the scene looks unbelievable.
