Sannia Ashfaq is Imad Wasim’s ex-wife and the mother of his three kids, currently living life as a single mother in the UK after her husband abandoned his family for his then-girlfriend Nyla Raja. Imad has now moved on with Nyla, while Sannia has dedicated her life to her three children.
Sannia has recently shared everything in detail about what happened in her toxic marriage with Imad. She also revealed how they met, married, and when things went worst between them.
Talking about it, she said, “My name is Sannia. I was previously married to Imad Wasim. People want to know what happened in our marriage. Many people asked how I met Imad, and how we got divorced. So, I met Imad online. At the beginning, I found him to be very kind, loving, and compassionate. We fell in love. We got married. I thought I was going to have this relationship for the rest of my life. After marriage, I left the UK and moved to Pakistan. I left family, friends, everyone. Also, his family got involved in our marriage. Whenever he was with them, he was a completely different person. He used to listen to them. Even if Imad was wrong, his family supported him. Our fights started from something, not bigger issues. I told Imad that I was pregnant with Ziyan. He was very happy. He was fond of kids, used to say once we would have our children, we would be enjoying our life with kids. We went for Umrah in 2024; things were normal. I became pregnant again. When we went to the hospital, I told him that I would tell his mother about pregnancy after a little gap. It’s not that I didn’t want to tell his family, I just needed time. The reason was I wanted to hide it from her because previously she pressured me for abortion, and because of that experience, I wasn’t ready. I was scared she would do the same. He didn’t listen to this, and it became an issue between us. He became angry, and when he told her about my pregnancy, his mother asked him to divorce me, take my house property and everything, and they did the same, took furniture, everything. And after that, our argument continued for two or three days. I told Imad my house was ready where we could move and things might change then, but he didn’t listen. His older brother got involved and everything turned worse. Everyone was against me. I was alone. My family was in the UK. While I was pregnant, his brother threatened me that he would have me kidnapped and no one would find me. It was all told in front of Imad. He remained silent.”
She further added, “After a few days, Imad came to me and said that my family is doing bad to you. We should settle in the UK and should leave every problem here and raise our childre. We will forget bitter experience we had in Pakistan and will spend time with our children, and I believed him, but as soon as we arrived in England, everything changed. He came to my mum’s house, got involved with a lawyer, told me he’s leaving me, took my passport, my children’s passports, and left me at my mother’s house. They tortured me for nine months. I asked him why he was doing this and asked why he was leaving me. He excused it by saying he needed time. It was his excuse for abandoning us. He continued controlling me through his lawyer. Every week, I received a letter from his lawyer. Even after everything, I wanted to save my marriage and begged him, but all he said was he needed space. He then threatened me that he wanted to take the children. When he was arrested, his family and lawyers, I helped him come out of prison. He was jailed for his actions, not because of me. At the time of delivery, I texted him. Instead of showing excitement, he threatened me not to text him as it would be considered harassment. Then I started seeing videos showing him with this homewrecker. He had no time for his newborn but that homewrecker. I felt betrayed. He deceived me through his words. When he took me to the UK, then he refused that it was his fan. I tried everything to save our marriage because of our children, but unfortunately, it didn’t work. I later discovered that he was unfaithful. He sent me divorce papers and the same month got married to the same homewrecker who was his fan. I took the kids to Pakistan to see if his heart melts, but nothing happened. I talked to Imad’s family, but they didn’t listen. My kids were crying, but he didn’t think about them. He was too busy to come to Pakistan, and his father would see his ailing son. I’m doing everything on my own currently.”
Talking about her abortion, Sannia Ashfaq said, “Imad already booked an appointment with the lady doctor for abortion. Dr. asked me if I was okay with keeping the child, to which I said yes. She took Imad to another room, let him hear his son’s heartbeat. Even after hearing the heartbeat, he said he still wanted the abortion. This is something I can never forgive. I was three months pregnant. She said it’s not a baby, it’s just a sack. I cried desperately and cried for my baby. They gave me an injection. I passed out, and when I woke up, I had already been aborted. I have three beautiful children. I hope and pray they become successful in life.”
