Abrar-ul-Haq is a multi-talented Pakistani artist and politician known for his Bhangra and pop music, as well as his charitable work. He earned timeless fame in the early 1990s and gained recognition through his famous Punjabi hit song *Billo*. His other notable songs include Cycle, Jatt, Rang Rang, Pardesi, December, Sanu Tere Naal, Nach Punjaban, Chamkeeli, and many others. Recently, Abrar Ul Haq appeared as a guest on Public Demand Season 2, hosted by Mohsin Abbas Haider. During the show, he took a dig at both Iqrar Ul Hassan and Jawad Ahmed over their political ambitions.
Responding to the host’s question regarding Jawad Ahmed’s statement that a laborer would earn the equivalent of one tola of gold if he would come in the power, Abrar Ul Haq said, “I just enjoy his big claims because I can’t do anything else. Only he can make claims like these.”
Abrar Ul Haq further took a dig at Iqrar Ul Hassan’s marriages, saying, “The man who can manage three wives can also manage the public, I believe, because a wife is complete politics. It should be taught as a subject at university. So, the one who has managed three wives can maybe become a successful politician.”
When asked who, between Jawad Ahmed and Iqrar Ul Hassan, was the last hope for Pakistan, Abrar Ul Haq replied that neither of them was Pakistan’s last hope.
